Schloss Wangen Bellermont · Bolzano
Laura and Valentin came from Munich. For their wedding they chose South Tyrol and a 13th-century castle just outside Bolzano: Schloss Wangen Bellermont, once the summer residence of the lords of Wangen.
The civil ceremony took place in early autumn. Their guests lived every corner of the castle: the courtyard, and the garden for the aperitivo, with German beer and local flavours.
The moment I carry with me is the dinner: evocative, elegant and warm, within the castle's ancient walls. An atmosphere you can feel in the film before you even see it.
The party went on into the night, in the castle cellar.
