Lucia and Andrew came from Canada. For their wedding they chose the Ionian coast of Calabria and Soverato, right on the sea.
The ceremony took place in high summer, in the church of Sant'Antonio di Padova.
The moment I carry with me is the aperitivo after the ceremony, through the streets of Soverato Marina: the couple and their guests in the middle of everyday town life, with the sea just a few steps away.
The celebration went on at Tenuta Calivello, in Catanzaro.
