Antoinette & Edward

Antoinette and Edward came from San Diego, California. They chose Masseria Grieco, just outside Ostuni, and turned their wedding into a few days to share with the people they love. The story begins the evening before, with a welcome dinner by the pool and the flavours of Apulian cooking.

The civil ceremony took place in early autumn, under the trees of the garden. It was officiated by Edward's godfather.

The moment I carry with me is Edward's emotion during the ceremony, which he didn't try to hide in front of the people he loves. To me, it's the heart of this film.

Then came the aperitivo in the courtyard square with live music, and dinner in the courtyard at three long tables. The family speeches, the cake cutting, the first dance.

The party went on late into the night on the masseria's round threshing floor, under the Ostuni sky.
